What is the Mind Body System?


Mind Body is a method of accessing the healing power of the body using ancient and modern concepts. It is simple, safe, non invasive and fast. It is effective and it will change the way you look at health care forever.

How does Mind Body work?


The basic principle is that optimum health derives from the synchronicity of all energy functions of the body/mind complex. There are billions of activities that take place every second on the physical, emotional and mental levels to keep your body in working order. When any of these activities become unsynchronised, often due to the stresses of day-to-day life and the environment, you begin to experience distress and illness.
The simple Mind Body approach accesses and mobilises your own innate healing ability by identifying where the imbalances in your body/mind are and re-establishing communication between those parts. Once the links have been made, an energy shift occurs that leads to resynchronisation, restoring balance and thus your health.

How does the Mind Body Practitioner access my body’s innate wisdom?


Communication with your body’s own innate wisdom is established using a type of neuromuscular biofeedback. Once your body’s innate wisdom has been trained by the practitioner to provide yes and no responses, a systematic line of questioning is followed.

What happens during a treatment?


Treatment consists of touching the areas identified by the innate wisdom as requiring balancing and tapping out over the head and then the heart.

This gentle tapping over both halves of the brain alerts your brain that there are corrections to be made (this is an ancient technique).

Tapping the heart energy complex is a breakthrough to integrate the correction into your body’s memory banks, and therefore at a deep and lasting level.

Mind Body Practitioners refer to all memory events as Emotional Reality. In Mind Body all memory events are considered emotional reality because these events may or may not correspond with actual or historic reality. For example some may be associated with imagined emotional events such as nightmares or misconceptions.

How can I tell if it is working?


Most clients that come for regular Mind Body treatments consistently report steady, general improvement in their overall condition. They can’t point to any one thing in particular, but it seems that minor shifts have happened on the physical and emotional and mental levels.

Over time, these minor shifts result in a general sense of well being and an alleviation of symptoms. Other clients experience major shifts during a treatment or shortly afterwards.

Mind Body does not deal with the spiritual realm, nor does it exorcise demons or entities.

Mind Body does not predict the future or deal in any way with parapsychology. Mind Body does not make claims as to what may have happened in the past, and it does not tell people what their plan of action may, must or should be in the future.

Is Mind Body safe?


Yes. No diagnosis is ever made, no medications or other external substances are prescribed and no invasive techniques are ever employed. The Mind Body system is totally safe in every case. No symptom or condition can be made worse by following it – the worst thing that can happen is that nothing happens!
